Beth was 22 years old and running a fashion company when she first saw the human rights and environmental pollution occurring in the industry. She believed that fashion could be made ethically and make a difference.

With this vision in mind, she created Raintees, which gives back by planting a tree for every t-shirt sold. Beth discovered that just one collection could impact thousands of lives.

Raintees launched in Los Angeles at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in 2008 and has grown into a global tribe of people dedicated to giving back.

With the support of thousands of fans the brand is now sold internationally, has planted more than 40,000 trees in critically endangered areas, and helped send children to school in more than 20 countries.

Beth’s award winning book From the Jungle was inspired by the children she met while working in Central and South America. A tree is planted for each copy sold to give back to this rich land.

From the Jungle colorfully brings to life the ecosystems and wildlife of our tropical rainforests through the eyes and original artwork of three children living there.

In a wonderfully educational journey for young readers, Winnie, Mariela, and Pablo share how they experience the world’s demand for the rich, natural resources found in their homelands and suggest simple ways we can all save our rainforests.

This was the best gift for my kids. It’s their favorite book!
